2 online meetings and one in person meeting to discuss the below questions asked in the interview process. There were lots of empty promises and lack of transparency e.g. $1500 for PD, reality is we can access it after 12 months Participants close to home, reality is everyone is far away Concierge take care of admin responsibilities, realities is we are doing most admin tasks and admin will not even complete safety forms, SA's, initial intake questions Active group chats for peer feedback and support, reality is I have not had one question answered in those group chats
I already knew an occupational therapist working with Ability Action, so this made the recruitment process so much easier and quicker. I visited the clinic one day to meet the team, ask questions and look around the clinic. I also had a phone call with a team leader and a recruitment officer to ask more questions, and then I was offered the job.
It was a efficient system. I attended a online session and then wen to the interview.
The interview process was relaxed and similar to having a coffee with your friends (Minimising nerves).
