I am quite happy with the pay and it fits my part-time working style.
Team lunches, valuable mentorship and career development programs, flexibility, paid professional memberships and phone expenses, and great work environment!
From what I have heard, my graduate salary is $10000 less than starting salaries for other companies with similar roles. In saying this, I acknowledge that these are much larger companies and that Alluvium has many other strong points. It also makes sense for a smaller environmental engineering consultancy. My current salary is enough to comfortably cover living expenses but does not allow for a lot of savings. The profit sharing was a surprise bonus, and I was grateful for that. The company has covered a lot of team lunches and coffees and has been generous with reimbursing laptop chargers, gumboots and other work or site visit related equipment.
The base pay fits my part time role well.
