Very flexible hours and working arrangements that fits with my University study schedule.
very flexible with hours with 2 days available for remote work
A regular work week would be around 37.5 hours, however I had a period of 2-3 months where I had a really big project and felt the need to work overtime or on weekends to get things across the line. Additionally (and this might be an industry problem, not necessarily an Alluvium one), work involving modelling like TUFLOW can take days to run and any errors can set a project back. This resulted in a lot of checking things on the weekend, sending off runs at nighttime etc. I've realised this is something I need to work on and haven't worked weekends since this project. Other than that, work is really flexible with where I work and I appreciate that a lot. I have been allowed to work from home and work from the Sydney office for a couple of weeks.
For an undergraduate consultant still studying at university, the hours and working arrangements are very flexible to fit within my conflicting university schedule.
