My day to day tasks are varied. Most of the work that i am allocated is substantive and requires legal expertise. I am trusted to perform important jobs, and my input is valued by senior members.
As a junior associate, my role involves a mix of legal research, drafting documents, and supporting senior lawyers on various matters. Day-to-day tasks can include preparing court documents, reviewing contracts, summarising case law, and attending meetings or hearings. I also assist with client correspondence and help manage deadlines and filings. The work is varied and depends on the matters the team is handling, which keeps things interesting and provides great learning opportunities.
I am very satisfied with the type of work that i have been involved in. I have been given challenging and varied tasks. I have been able to be in meetings with clients and work on pro bono matters.
