It is very flexible in terms of when I start and finish, and I am easily able to log off and back on if needed for appointments or engagements.
My work hours vary greatly depending on current projects and deadlines. At times I work long hours but these hours are tracked and recognised through the bonus system. My employer is quite flexible with working arrangements, with a 3-day in person target which is not strictly enforced. I do not need to request permission to work from home.
My work hours are fairly long as is standard in the legal profession. However, my employer is very flexible regarding remote working arrangements, allowing two days a week to work from home. Senior staff are generally understanding regarding working flexibly around personal commitments.
My employer is very flexible. They understand the importance of being able to balance things like attending appointments during work hours whilst ensuring that work gets done which may involve logging on to finish things at a time that suits you. I have found that many people around the firm have different working styles (early mornings and earlier finish, later mornings and later finishes, log off in the afternoon and work in the evening etc) and they all seem to be able to work together seamlessly.
Corrs' expectation is 4 days a week in the office. However, my team is very flexible as to working from home arrangements and are understanding that I have two dogs (meaning, I can't work late every night of the week).
