All DISR offices (Industry House, VIC State office, NMI Port Melbourne) are all well-kept, spacious and tidy. All offices are fitted with working amenities. The DISR VIC state office is incredibly close to public transport, however it was difficult gaining access to at the beginning due to poor communication with the state office administrator. NMI Port Melbourne has great laboratory facilities, however space is very limited as instruments and stacked next to each other and desks are fitted very close together in the labs and office spaces. The dress code in the laboratory is leaning more casual of the business casual, as long as closed toe shoes and proper PPE is worn in the laboratory. Dress code in the office leans toward more business of the business casual. There is also a casual Friday option.
The location is great, the facilities advocated for by the Inclusion Network are amazing (breastfeeding rooms, respite room). There is no continuity of space on floors which is very difficult to judge space. I find it very difficult to work in my current space as meeting rooms have no soundproofing near me, there is also very little light in my area and I have not been made aware of any extra lighting provisions available so I often have to book a meeting room to work. The dress code is so inconsistent and frustrating to understand. We are one dept but i have had to change how I dress depending on what floor I am working on.
They are fine, it's an office. Modern enough. Dress code is business, Fridays are "casual"
Office space is well furnished and maintained and supports a casual Friday dress code.
The office is clean and located in a convenient position. The dress code is nothing out of the ordinary.
