Very good, everything you need.
Good office space.
Excellent facilities
The PM&C offices in Barton are excellently maintained, and very modern. The National Circuit precinct which includes PM&C and several other nearby buildings provides services and activities to all employees in the area e.g., lunchtime yoga or mat pilates classes. The office has basement carparking, excellent end-of-trip facilities, clean and well-furnished kitchens, and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and other popular spots nearby. PM&C is walking distance from Parliament, and Old Parliament House and has green spaces in the immediate vicinity, such as York Park and Parkes Place. The dress code at PM&C is more formal than most public service departments given the importance of being the Prime Minister's department and working with various stakeholders, including directly with Ministers and their offices. However, there is no enforced attire, rather an understanding that everyone will take a mature approach to 'dress for their day'. In my case, I often dress in business casual on days when there are no meetings with external stakeholders and it is unlikely I will be required in an official capacity but on others where that is the case, corporate attire is the norm. You will often find that many different work areas within PM&C will have traditions around attire, many of which help brighten up the work day!
