I believe the pay is standard for accounting firms. However, it is low compared to similar industry roles or roles at banks. The money I make is close to what I was making in my part-time role which required no degree. There are a few perks with the role. Social events are close to being free and well worth the $10 monthly fee. We get on-demand coffee with alternative milk options, tea and biscuits. We also get 9 fortnights whilst being paid for the full 10 days which is helpful. Also, there is great flexibility with working from home. I believe there are no unusual perks associated with my role.
