Classroom sessions with our manager, team leader, and some more senior employees within the company with expertise about the technologies we will be working with. We've been briefed heavily on customer service and familiarised with Microsoft Azure, Fortinet, general networking concepts and security. We've also been slowly accustomed to the data halls and the work that is required of us in there.
There is plenty of training and development programs at the company to learn from over the years during employment. Whether it be through informal or formal means of training, you will constantly be learning new things during the day.
There's a lot of events/induction days when you start out which introduce you to all aspects of the company. Training to start with is through learning modules but these are mostly to do with the company. Technical training is on the fly and you learn as you go or experience more issues. Technical training is mainly done through peers.
Training is thorough and in depth, equipping you with all you need.
