Compared to other top 6 firms, minters pays its junior lawyers $10-20k less and increases our pay at slower intervals. ie we received an increase in december 2024 instead of upon our admission in august 2024, and will receive an increase in 1 july 2026 instead of upon settling in sep 2025. this results in (tens of) thousands of less income for us as junior lawyers than if we worked at other top 6 firms. free gym membership is a good perk. free dinners are good but only available after 7-7:30pm.
