I work 8 hour days with 30 minute unpaid lunch break. My employer is very flexible with when I work during the day as long as I make it to meetings and meet my hours. I also am able to work remotely if necessary.
Flexible start/finish times to be negotiated which is great!
Very flexible. Most teams allow working from home 2 days a week and we also get to pick what time we start and finish. If we work extra hours one day, we can claim these hours as flexi and use them to have a shorter workday when we want to.
SA Power Networks has a very flexible work hours arrangement. The core hours (when most people are working) are predominantly 10am-3pm but you can start and finish early or start and finish late depending on what hours suit you. For example, you may be an early riser and work from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Conversely, you may be a late riser and start at 10:00am and finish at 6:00pm. SA Power Networks also offers working from home. Employees in certain teams may work up to 2 days a week from home. However, it is strongly encouraged that graduates come into the office as much as possible and I agree with this sentiment as it is a lot easier to learn when you are in the office. It is also easier to get to know people.
