Shell has offered many opportunities to develop both technically and leadership wise during the graduate program. This could be international training courses, international assignments or the opportunity to work offshore on a production facility.
Shell heavily invests in training graduates - I have completed 3 overseas training courses in the past 3 years, as well as several domestic training courses.
This last year I've been able to complete 3 key trainings, 2 being overseas. Last year I was only allowed to do one online training. Can be very dependent on the current business climate and it seems like the trainings are moving more towards virtual.
Budget for external training and some opportunities for international travel to develop technical competencies.
