You become an expert in pricing topics and growth strategy. However, there is a large percentage (>50%) of pricing projects (which could get quite repetitive) concentrated in only 2-3 industries. DFAT graduates start as an APS4 and move to an APS5 automatically after completion. Promotions are then through a bulk round process. There are also opportunities to apply for overseas postings.
