Cv submission, video response questions, cocktail night, in person interview.
I was initially recruited through a clerkship program. We were required to attend a cocktail event to meet members of the firm, then participated in a video interview wherein I was required to answer various questions and record my answers. The final stage involved an in person interview with partners from the firm. Following on from my clerkship, I was offered a full time role as a graduate. This did not involve any further interviews.
The interview process is unique as you are required to prepare video answers to three set questions. If you are a good speaker and comfortable in front of the camera, this may be beneficial to you. However, you get unlimited tries and can prepare as much or as little as you like. the in-person interview was a simple conversation with two main partners. Definitely the most relaxed interview that I had, which allowed me to be my best self. It did not feel intimidating and the partners came across as genuine.
