As a graduate mentoring is offered and required to us, as well as lots of work shops to give us strong consulting skills
There was very little formal training that was provided that was directly relevant to my role. Much of it was learning on the job, provided informally, or the formal training was very high level. while the high level training is good for context, not much of it tells you about how to do well in your specific role. Managers aren't generally provided with the tools required to properly train new people, especially young graduates.
