My day-to-day can range between lots of meetings and working collaboratively between departments or a no distraction day of coding and reviewing PR requests. It depends on the tasks that need to be done. Either way I am empowered to improve processes and complete my tasks autonomously.
I am a graduate software engineer in Jira Navigation. I usually get assigned tickets in our team's sprint board, or assign myself work that interests me and is free to pick up. The tasks are usually creating or modifying components, writing tests, fixing bugs and accessibility issues, and operational work. I also attend regular standups and operation meetings, and biweekly demos in our org.
