For the most part, I have been able to take on impactful work, and been trusted with substantial roles on project from the outset. However, time-filler tasks when our team is quiet can be draining, and again the opportunity to learn technical skills has been limited with repetition in project types.
Preparing resource consent applications, Assessment of Environmental Effects (AEEs), Notices of Requirement (NoRs), consent strategies, climate change risk assessments, and high level planning assessments.
Working on civil projects, get to do a large range of civil design
Good range of projects, enough repetition to learn but also changing it up to not get bored and keep it interesting. I prepare planning assessments, consents, site visits, optioneering workshops.
