I have found the most beneficial training has happened when I have had one-on-one mentoring by my colleagues. I have learnt lots of Civil 3D skills by doing project work and being able to ask questions to my colleagues/mentors. The training modules and videos provided I haven't found to be as useful. This may be because of the way I learn, but I find the best way to learn is from others.
Lots of seminars/ webinars are provided to aid learning, but I feel this has mainly been targeted to soft skills - the technical aspect is lacking for advisory in particular.
Training on the job, experienced staff provide great feedback and opportunities to learn. Frequent learning sessions on various relevant topics provide extra training.
Training is provided throughout the graduate program with fortnightly trainings for all graduates.
There are lots of training opportunities available, the hardest part is making the most of them and tailoring them to you.
