Daily I work on workpapers and other miscellaneous activities relating to my learning, I will always have something engaging on or at least within my workflow.
Day to day tasks depend on the client I am assigned on. Lots of team meetings and catch ups but work is always varied. Each client brings a different style and industry that makes the work super engaging and rewarding. I am always challenged to learn and I feel I have had exposure to many different areas of the audit process while still being at the grad level.
A broad mix of consulting and compliance work available for all levels. No day is the same as there is such a variety of diverse engagements to work on.
Prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, trusts, and companies. Also prepare GST returns for entities.
I get a range of everything as a casual grad. I am given a lot meaningful work for clients and I enjoy doing it. I also get a range of other things to complete which rounds out my skills and abilities.
