Interview process was good, I felt my interviewers we're welcoming, and interested in hearing about me in general.
The reason I rated the recruitment process difficult was I attended three interviews, one with HR and 2 other meetings with the audit directors and the whole process took about 3 months before I was offered the role. Thus I felt it was a bit long winded for me. At the same time I rated the overall recruitment process excellent as I could see that HR especially was thorough with it's processes in place and that itself gave me confidence that this is the type of organisation I would like to be a part off. There was also a assessment ( mainly aptitude and personality) that we needed to complete as part of the interview so that the company could assess us and understand us better to ensure we would fit in their environment and team.
The interview process started off efficiently but became quite lengthy over time, with long gaps between stages. This made me feel uncertain at times, especially as I had other offers on the table that I had to delay while waiting to hear back from Baker Tilly Staples Rodway. Baker Tilly Staples Rodway was my preferred option, but the extended timeline made it difficult to plan and added some pressure. I feel the process could be improved by reducing the time between interviews and providing more regular updates to keep candidates informed and reassured.
It was good. The only issue was the amount of time taken from application to final acceptance of role.
