Once a year every person may take a paid volunteer day to work for a charity. graduates also clean up the harbor as an onboarding networking activity in the summer.
BTSR tracks their environmental impact through Toitu. Paper usage, electricity usage etc. Moving to a new office, sustainable materials were used and sustainability was at the forefront of the design of the fitout. I was heavily involved with this being on the ESG committee.
They have custom built the new office to reduce emissions such as using tinted windows. They are also promoting green commuter schemes.
Since moving into our new office, we have mostly gone paperless. There are a few odd things that we use paper for but it has improved. I'm not aware of any other sustainability efforts that we do.
