In our department, we have weekly informal training on areas that the managers have identified that staffs are struggling with. Apart from that there is a monthly nationwide training across all offices as well on topics relevant to our roles. Apart from these there are other development opprtunities along our career that staff are offered as they progress in their role.
There are many training opportunities available in my role, including both on-the-job learning and formal training sessions. The national graduate induction program was particularly useful for building a strong foundation. The company provides clear, easy-to-follow manuals that support continuous learning. I've benefited from regular performance feedback and coaching, which help me identify areas for improvement and develop my skills effectively. Overall, the development opportunities have been valuable in enhancing both my technical abilities and professional growth.
There is a training program in place for me as a graduate and outside of work opportunities are with CAANZ to become a chartered accountant. Work fully supports this and are very reasonable with giving study leave to achieve this goal. I have a mentor who gives me feedback from day to day.
