We reduce carbon within the company, but there doesn't seem to be much care into carbon impact within the designs. but likely the client would be the decider whether they want a carbon friendlier design or not.
Company has accreditation towards sustainability and track everything in and out of the office
I am aware that sustainability is part of BCD's long-term goals, however, I am not entirely familiar with the specific processes involved. From my understanding, particularly in design and civil engineering work, the company makes a conscious effort to minimise its environmental impact wherever possible.
Carbon neutralizing is undertaken with purchasing carbon credits to be net zero. Carbon emissions get calculated for major projects and the impacts are considered when selection the solutions.
We analyse this and report on it frequently.
