The work in audit varies a lot depending on the industry/business structure of the client that we are auditing at the time which keeps things interesting. the workload is enough to keep me interested and busy without being so much that i feel burnt out, there is a good balance and the work is enjoyable and interesting. the purpose of each task that we work on is very clear and you can see how each piece of work fits into the overall opinion that we issue to each client and therefore it is easy to feel satisfied with the work that you're performing. audit has a strong focus on efficiency as well so you are usually only doing work that is actually important and useful.
Clients varies between industries
I spend most of my time drafting accounts which i find good steady work, some of the other work i get can be a bit frustrating.
