The training programmes are extensive and useful. management are also very opening to providing additional training for any areas that people are feeling unsure on. the mentoring/coaching structure at bdo is great with every staff member being provided a 'buddy' who is one level above them to help with any quick questions or advice since they were recently in the same role and then also a mentor who is a manager and can help with progression, issues and feedback/coaching and each staff member is also assigned a partner for anything that your mentor may not be able to help with and for pd discussions. the support structure at bdo is very well set out and works well for me
Basic formal training is given at the start of the role and monthly. however, most training are received on -the-job which is expected in audit and assurance.
Though the training was really good definitely a big improvement from when i was an intern.
We receive ongoing mentoring that provides feedback and have ongoing trainings both structures and unstructured.
