Few formal training and development opportunities. Many technical resources are out of date or missing. There are lots of skilled and experienced people within the business but this knowledge is not easily transferred to graduates. The knowledge is best accessed by on the job learning and feedback. Internal verification means there is always feedback passed on which makes up most of the informal training.
Have a quick review every month where I get feedback on the work I've done and can have a good conversation about my progression. We have a graduate development program where we traveled to Auckland for a few days and meet with all the new zealand and australian grads.
