Yes, although being very busy, they are very helpful and supportive. We have a weekly one-on-one meetings where we talked about things that I needed support on, answering any questions that I have, helping me review my areas of improvements. He also helped by engaging other colleagues about how I perform at work, to make sure that I am doing well and not struggling as much considering this is my first full-time professional job.
My official actual manager for my team does not have regular interaction with me. My supervisor in my team that I do projects with I have regular interaction with and this provides plenty of opportunity for performance feedback/recognition. My official manager is relatively accessible though, but could be more accessible.
My manager is really good as he regularly catches up with me, provides mentoring and feedback, makes sure I am on track. He pushes me to learn new things so that I can progress quicker which I really appreciate.
My managers are both very busy so at times it can be hard to access them. However, I very often know what is expected of me, and they are always providing me with opportunities to get further stuck into my role. I often get feedback and recognition for the work I do, which in turn, helps me gain confidence.
