Contact places a strong emphasis on work-life balance, which makes a real difference day to day. I've been able to adjust my hours to suit personal commitments, and taking leave is never a hassle.
Contact supports flexible mahi which means you can work out of the office if arrangements have been made with your manager. I'd say the hours are also quite flexible, for example if you have a non work-related appointment during working hours it is generally okay for you to miss work to attend the appointment, provided that you make up the hours.
I work primarily remotely and have great flexibility. I am trusted to self manage, and there's understanding that productivity naturally moves in peaks and troughs. Flexible working is also modeled by my manager. While I'd say I work a little over 40 hours, this is primarily because I treat my personal and work planning together, so don't carve out separate blocks of time, and my personal interests to overlap with my area of work, so I am happy to spend a little more time exploring these areas. Only very on occasion is the workload significant enough that there is a 'need' for overtime. In these times, I'd typically take back the time for myself when the work slows down again.
Very flexible with time and location
