Lots of training and development. You get a lot of support throughout the programme as you have a buddy, mentor, sponsor and manager for each rotation. Usually, you get an excel sheet with activities you will learn during each rotation, and you get to shadow different people from the team to learn from them. There is also DHL based training that all people in the company get.
High level of development and training opportunities in place. Lots of onboarding training to start off and are provided with mentor, sponsor and a buddy who we can use to ask for advice and are there to help develop us as well.
The internal training site can be helpful for foundational knowledge, but not much past it. The most learning you will do is by doing it, rather than reading about it. It's fine if you are able to figure things out on your own because they will answer your questions but sometimes you get left without any formal instruction.
DHL has a large array of trainings available which I have taken part in (dangerous goods, health and safety, Inclusion, commercial contracting) I have also gotten better at Excel.
