When working late, dinner and Ubers home can be reimbursed. There is a discounted health insurance scheme available too. Certain profession-related costs are also paid for or reimbursed.
The pay is standard for a graduate-level role and has added perks like Ubers from work social functions, Birthday leave, and a fully funded graduate induction programme including flights, catering, and hotel.
I understand that my salary is a little above market, and having profs/admission fees/practising certificate renewal fees paid for by my firm is also significant. Partners have also been generous in buying coffees etc. for the team which is always appreciated.
Free coffee is good. There always seems to be social/networking events and other team events that keep morale high. Additionally, there are often giveaways for local events etc and the partners are always more than happy to invite us and other juniors to events. A day off for birthday leave is also a cool entitlement
