The office space is great. Currently, staff share offices (in pairs). Partners, Special Counsels, and some other senior staff will have an office to themselves. This is likely to change when the firm moves to a different floor - where it will likely be open plan with less offices. There are meeting rooms of different sizes which are great for quick small meetings and phone calls as well as larger team meetings and firm-wide morning teas. There is a very nice view from the windows overlooking Customhouse Quay, Waterloo Quay, and the waterfront out towards Oriental Parade. There are showers in the bathrooms on the office floor as well as on the ground floor of the building. There is essentially a "dress for your day" dress code. This is generally tidy business casual, but it is not uncommon for some staff to wear suits/blazers/more formal wear with or without ties. The litigation team provides barristers' gowns when required for appearances.
Excellent location in Britomart with a view of the waterfront and access to the amenities of the city. There is a "dress for your day" policy, i.e. formal attire when meeting clients and attending court, but business casual otherwise.
I love the office layout - really cool building! And the dress code is corporate but also dress for your day, so very flexible.
Cannot think of any way to fault the office, although this is the first office that I have worked in. The dress code is formal, although ties are not typically worn unless meeting with a client or going to court, for example. On casual Fridays it's not uncommon to see people wearing jeans.
The office is great! The coffee machine is awesome and for all to use. Our office is spacious and feels uplifting.
