There are clearly marked recycling bins around the office and a compost bin which is picked up and serviced by a sustainable carbon zero company.
There are sustainability initiatives and "Green Champions" who essentially function as a sustainability committee. The firm has various sustainability goals such as reducing paper consumption, green travel initiatives and reducing carbon emissions, and composting.
There are very clear recycling/waste disposal methods that make it easy to make sustainable decisions. We also have posters by our hand dryers to let people know how much energy they save to save paper!
My firm is conscious of sustainability but it is not really on our radar in the day-to-day. We are making efforts to reduce paper wastage but I think our sustainability is likely to ultimately go backwards with the adoption of AI.
