The pay is in line with the market average for GIS/Science grad jobs. There is significant industry training and upskilling built into the programme too.
They are okay - there is a lot of travel involved in my role and all travel expenses are covered for that. Quite a few social events throughout the year at the office with catering. Leave and work from home privileges are usually not a problem which is very handy and much appreciated.
I think it is fair for a graduate position given the sheer amount of training and development opportunities given to graduates, but I would expect a significant raise once stepping into an associate role. Other benefits include: Free travel, dinner, hotel stays etc. When travelling for work. There are often free morning/afternoon teas in the office.
The pay is about in line with what I expected for a graduate role in the geospatial industry. There are no additional benefits that I am aware of.
