Not really applicable just focused on protecting consumers especially with their outcomes focused regulation consultation/outlook.
Their work is already in great benefit of ffinancial market participants, and the whole of New Zealand. Ensuring that their operations are completed thoroughly, and that justice is being achieved in the ffinancial markets is great.
The FMA supports New Zealands transition to an integrated financial system - one that looks beyond financial returns to also consider non-financial factors. Currently my project as with many others is about ensuring consumers get fair outcomes rather than focusing on allowing the sector to make as much money as possible to the detriment of the consumer
I know that FMA has a volunteering day that each team has to do every year.
