We have recently moved to a new building, which has been great. The location is very easy to drive or public transport to, and the facilities are very nice. I have greatly enjoyed the use of the large social kitchen with shared appliances, as well as the gym, and the shower facilities. The workshop and carpark are now very good as well. The dress code changes between departments, in product development its pretty casual, jeans and a hoodie is fine. The other departments expect a bit more professional clothing.
The dress code is less strict than they make it sound, you just need to look tidy. I've seen the CEO walking around in a nice T-shirt, nice jeans and nice sneakers. It is an open plan office with pretty good workshops.
Work environment is casual and relaxed, much like the dress code. Facilities and resources are pretty good, good social kitchen and coffee, workshop and labs are okay, there are better resources in Auckland office.
The dress code was described as business causal. It is very casual, as long as nothing is inappropriate. The office has Three workshops, and several Labs at this site, which gives plenty of space for each department to run their own tests. I would say it is a very pleasant, highly functioning workspace.
