There are different tribes (employee led networks) at Foodies to help people have a sense of belonging. For example, there is Foodstuffs Rainbow Tribe, Foodstuffs Women Tribe etc. From what I have heard the retention rate is high and they want hire employees internally to help develop careers and opportunities for people.
Foodies is simply the best when it comes to diversity and inclusion, it is clear that a lot of thought and effort has gone into making all feel welcome and valued. The cultural shows/days is a clear example of this, enlightening all to the holidays/meanings behind their way of life within their culture is awesome.
They have great inclusions, we have celebrations for most cultural events
Foodstuffs demonstrates a commitment to diversity and inclusion in several ways. One standout example is the celebration of language weeks, which helps recognise and honour the cultural backgrounds of employees. This fosters a sense of belonging and respect across the workplace. The company also promotes inclusive practices in recruitment and team collaboration,. While there’s always room to grow, these efforts contribute to a positive and welcoming environment
Lots of celebrations for all walks of life
