In my experience, my managers are fantastic, super encouraging and always there to support me whenever I need help. There is regular 1 on 1s with your manager (fortnightly) and 6 monthly 1 on 1s with your team lead which is nice as it shows your managers and team lead do care about you and want to know what is happening in your life. At weekly team meetings, it is also encouraged to give shout outs to anyone to give praise or recognition. My manager makes a great mentor as they constantly let me know how I am doing which is great.
Very clear expectations and weekly catch ups on what we need help with and how we should be training. Managers are also invested in you personally outside of work and how they can help get you to where you want to go. Very encouraging having this from your boss.

My managers are accessible and approachable, which makes a big difference in day-to-day communication. They’re open to questions, provide guidance when needed, and are supportive of development. While mentoring is informal, they do offer helpful feedback and are willing to share their experience. Internal communication is clear and consistent, and performance feedback is constructive. Praise and recognition are given when deserved, which helps build morale and motivation. Overall, the leadership style encourages growth and collaboration
Easy to talk to and not shy to ask questions to
