I quite liked how straight forward the interview process was- apply online, get invited to do an online one-way recorded interview (after they check your CV), and if you make it past that stage you get to do an in-person interview with your potential manager. My experience in this case was really smooth. I was informed what was happening to my application at every stage of the recruitment, so it didn't feel like I was out of the loop at any point.
The interviews were thought out and professional. I think the awesome thing about foodies is that everyone is looking to help you progress in whatever it is you are applying for, this is made clear throughout the recruitment process and day to day work in the office. It is clear the expectations that the recruiters have for you whilst doing your time in the internship, and they ask real-life problem-solving questions that force you to think outside of the box. Over all 10/10
I got a call from one of the managers expressing that they wanted to do an interview and hire asap, I told them I could not start asap as I had not finished uni yet but we did an interview anyways and then they waited for me to start. I had one hour long interview over teams and it was very chill.
My experience with the interview process and assessments was positive overall. The communication was clear and timely, and I felt well-informed at each stage. The interviewers were professional and approachable, which helped create a comfortable environment. The assessments were relevant to the role and allowed me to demonstrate my skills effectively. I appreciated the transparency throughout the process and felt that it was fair and well-structured.
Was quite different for me as I was applying to cover for someone on annual leave so it was less of an interview to compete for the role but more of a screening to see what kind of person I was before I got the role
