The culture at Frequency is one of the main reasons I enjoy working here. The company has a relatively flat structure, and while there are clear leadership and management roles, everyone is approachable and willing to help. There is a strong emphasis on collaboration, and people genuinely want to see each other succeed. Teamwork is a big part of day-to-day life. Colleagues are always willing to share knowledge, provide guidance, and support one another when challenges arise. Despite being a graduate, I have been trusted with significant responsibility and given opportunities to lead projects, while still having experienced team members available for support when needed. Outside of work, there are regular social events and opportunities to connect with colleagues in a more relaxed setting. The environment is friendly and inclusive, making it easy to build relationships across different teams and levels of the business. Overall, the culture strikes a good balance between being professional, ambitious, and genuinely enjoyable to be a part of.
Excellent workplace culture, regular social events if that's your thing. Great cohort of fellow graduates and younger associates to socialise with both at work and outside of work.
There is regular office social events, and the socialising among colleagues is good even when travelling to other offices as there are training and company-wide events that bring people from other offices together
It's honestly great. Organisational structure is pretty flat, with hot desks for everyone including partners. Quiet music is played in the Auckland office which is nice. It is a rite of passage for new Graduates to push the drinks trolley around at 4pm in the Auckland office to give everyone a beer. Lots of social events and the Graduate forums are great. Often go out for a coffee with colleagues, team lunch, or the pub after work.
The workplace culture is great, both in and out of the office. There's a strong sense of cooperation and teamwork throughout, and while the structure is clear, the hierarchy never feels like a barrier — you can grab a catch-up with anyone, including senior leadership. Socially, there's plenty on offer year-round, from a dedicated social club to sporting and networking events, and individual teams also organise their own social gatherings. Fridays round things off nicely too, with time set aside for the team to unwind and chat after work.
