Free life insurance is good from Day one. Disappointted medical care doesn't start Day 1 Due to the nature of the role, short fixed term contracts, keep resetting sick leave, uniform entitlements and other length of service benefits. Collectively over my internships I have worked over 9 months but never been entitled to sick leave.
I believe that the pay is fair for an engineering intern with minimal industry experience. My perks were limited as I was/am an intern therefore don’t qualify for fuel discounts and some of the other perks offered to more full time Fulton Hogan employees. Other than this, I’ve been involved with events that involved free lunches and sponsored barbecues, etc that’ve been really good.
