Some managers are more accessible than others. I believe some do require significant training on mentoring and communication skills.
IXOM has fortnightly reviews with your manager which is a great time to discuss any issues and seek further help if needed. Can also speak with them any day during the week as well and they are happy to make time to meet with me.
I think there is some unbalance between experienced staff and graduates, there needs to be some more staff at a more intermediate level that can give us a bit more time than the senior staff can.
The managers are generally pretty good, there are some people that have been in their roles with a solid base of workers which are the sign of good management.
The managers are really helpful and motivate us.
