Vary on office how many rotations go through and what tasks contain, previous 7 months have been increased responsibility acting as field asset engineer while Coworker away on extended leave. Has been very busy but very beneficial experience and meaningful work. Before this period less so
That depends on the team and the manager leading the rotation. Most rotations start with an onboarding process and smaller, well-defined tasks, but as the rotation progresses, graduates may have the opportunity to lead project.
I work on Civil & structural inspection scheduling, tracking and compliance. I support the Field Asset Engineer and Structures Inspectors in business as usual jobs.
If initiative is taken within your role, you will be given the opportunity to contribute to a range of meaningful work. Your ability to communicate and your direct skillset directly impact this contribution.
I have a rotation of tasks given by team supervisors as well as an overarching project to complete during the graduate program. Everyday I usually complete tasks given such as reviewing or writing documents while also taking a few hours each week to work on my larger project.
