Initial application -> video interview -> in person. Interview followed structured questions around company values. Few technical questions
I recorded a self-introduction video and uploaded it to the portal. Then, HR called me and asked a few questions about my employment status, after which I was invited to an interview. Following the interview, HR contacted me again and invited me to meet the team. I then received the contract.
The interview process and assessment was quite straight forward. There was a video interview and then online interview with the manager for me. The recruitment team was always responsive to my emails regarding the process.
I applied for the job on the career website, did an initial screening interview, came in for a 1 hour long in-person interview, and was then offered the job. Other companies conducted lengthy test centres which are too long and resource intensive. I like that KiwiRail kept the process concise.
I have submitted my CV and cover letter as usual and carried out a one-way video interview. From then I then had an interview with my current manager and another graduate. The process was straightforward and easy.
