I did lots of research for various partners and associates, and some more admin-related roles for the junior solicitors. I never felt as if I was given something pointless or didn't matter, I felt really valued and that my work was important.
My work here has been meaningful and satisfying, including research, drafting pleadings, and compiling evidence (in litigation) and reviewing contracts, drafting clauses and preparing directors' documents in corporate. I've been given a lot of freedom to work on a task by myself and the partner has relied on me to manage my priorities so that everything gets done.
