As s summer clerk I am expected to leave at 5 and only have to stay later if I am specifically asked to. There is not a lot of opportunity for working from home, because it is more beneficial for us to be in the office and learning.
Our standard hours are 8.30am to 5pm. The summer clerks are not expected to work outside of those hours at all. In general across the office most people get in just before 8.30 and seem to leave just after 5 with a few exceptions for when there are urgent deadlines. Most people work in the office and only work from home if absolutely necessary. I have been able to take LWOP and medical leave for doctor's appointments. Lunch break is 1-2pm and people take their full hour.
Very flexible, particularly if you gain a full-time role.
We work 8:30am to 5pm. Each team is different with working arrangements. Staff are able to work from home, however, most choose to come into the office.
My work hours are 8:30 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday. As a summer clerk you normally leave at 5, but sometimes if you have pressing work you can stay a bit later, but there is no pressure to. If you need to leave for some reason, the company is quite flexible and understanding. You can either take leave, or you can work the hours up another time.
