The facilities are beautiful, always kept clean and tidy, and well looked after. The offices are all open plan which allows everyone to interact with all levels of hierarchy at any time. Mainfreight has many locations across Auckland which means that it is easy to work at a depot close to home to reduce travel time. Mainfreight's dress code is smart and tidy, so everyone always looks professional but feels comfortable.
We are very lucky to be in a brand new building/depot. All older depots around New Zealand are being upgraded to accommodate new technology and improved efficiency. All team members in operations are provided with a full set of uniform ("blues"), which they must wear in a presentable fashion. In the office, personal corporate clothing can be worn along with the team uniform ("blues").
The office space is very modern and clean. The standards set in presentation are high and is always encouraged to keep things looking tidy throughout the workplace. The dress code could be more casual at times, but other than that - All good
