My experience with the interview process and assessments were extremely positive. The Mainfreight team are incredibly easy to deal with and always ensured a comfortable and relaxed interview environment. The company really places a focus on getting to know the people on a deeper level, rather than a transcript or what educational background you have. I also enjoyed how the first interaction I had was a face-to-face meeting with the team, rather than the first part of the interview process being online in the forms of video calls or personality tests or 1-way interviews.
I experienced a fantastic and easy to follow interview process. The team were encouraging and easy to talk to which made the interview process stress free and much more natural. The first stage was to fill out the application form which was then reviewed. This was followed by a phone call with a member of our wonderful training team and then an in person interview at the depot. The interview was very casual and more a friendly chat with the team.
My overall experience during the early stages applying for Mainfreight were extremely good. The interactions i had in lead up to my interview were friendly and insightful. During the interview i was greeted kindly and was explained about what the graduate programme at Mainfreight looks like which helped me make an easy choice to want to join the Mainfreight family.

It was rather straight forward. An initial screening of the CV, followed by an online interview, and then a site visit/in-person interview.
