Benefits have no impact on me. Pay is alright for starting off
The pay at Mainfreight doesn't quite add up against other businesses in the same industry, but the perks of getting a meal everyday by chefs and having all the resources that we have are pretty good. I also have just got a work car in my new role which adds up.
Mainfreight offers fair pay to graduates and new team members. Aside from the occasional monetary bonuses (based on branch performance), the team is rewarded throughout the year with hot cross buns in easter, bucket of apples in May and monthly team BBQs to celebrate and recognize team performance. Fuel and supermarket vouchers are regularly awarded for personal success and recognition of hard work. Leave is always granted with little question and at short notice. The team really does everything they can to ensure your requests are actioned.
