Mainfreight have a strong commitment to sustainability. They have greywater collections, solar panels, EV charges for the many EV vehicles in the fleet, they are beginning to include EV trucks in the fleet, they have emissions reporting for all customers to see how much CO2 was used in their shipments, and they also have many worm farms and vegetable gardens.
Mainfreight have many sustainability goals and are constantly looking to improve. From electric vehicles to on site water storage, our team are always exposed to new ideas on how to improve. All gas run hoists are now being replaced with modern electric forklifts. Many of our new branches have solar panels on the roof in order to generate our own electricity. There truly is such a long list, I could go on and on! :)
