Again, because my team is more niche, not as many resources are available to me than your usual engineering grads, but it got better recently. Performance feedback is great, we get to sit and chat with our managers and technical directors (in my case at least) to go over my goals for the year, I also receive great mentoring and coaching/support from my team and coworkers
However the training is a WIP for the company. Senior leadership is trying to put in place a more structured programme
As the geotechnical team at Mott Macdonald is relatively small, there were no specific training program for my role in New Zealand, but because of the wild knowledge base from Mott Macdonald worldwide, I was able to quickly find learning material, courses and subject matter expertise who can help me with any problem that I have.
